I feel jealous of all the amazing car show photos people post, so I took some pictures at the last one I went to. This is a show held every Tuesday night at the BBQ joint next to my daughters daycare. Since its so close, when I pick her up we walk over and practice our colors with the cars. This is only a small selection of the cars that were here. Typically there is a guy with a gorgeous Shelby Daytona Coupe repro, but he wasn’t here this time.

Here’s an Excalibur to start you off. It was for sale, but I didn’t get the price.

Here is the VW/Audi row. There were loose groupings of Corvettes and GTOs, but nothing too severe.

Very cool Corvair wagon. I had no idea these even existed, and having a rear engine kinda defeats the purpose of being a wagon, but who cares. Its cool

Don’t remember what this one was, but it was different, so here it is.

Beautiful AMC Javelin. I’ve been a bit smitten with these after learning how dominant they were in trans am racing.

Of the handful of T-buckets, this one is the coolest to me.

Slammed trucks. I overhead the owner of black one say he built it himself in a two car garage.

This Ford Capri RS is one of my favorites. Just gorgeous.

“Sure the cars are neat, BUT HAVE YOU SEEN THESE ROCKS?!?”

Had a quick chat with the owner of this car. He said at max boost of 26psi, it has approximately 1,600 hp. The crazy part was it was just finished the prior last Thursday. He also offered to let my daughter sit in the driver’s seat.

As with any Midwestern car show, muscle cars dominated. There were three Grand Nationals here, probably a dozen Mustangs, at least that many Corvettes, etc. No Porsches or BMWs though. Overall its a nice show and a nice way to spend time with my daughter.
